"Good news for those PTCL employees retired without pension in VSS-2008"

                            This is about the verdicts of LHC of dated 24-6-16 , on the writ petition # 22057/2016  filled by ex-telephone oprator  Mr Khalid Mehmood vs President PTCL & MD PTET.Khalid Mehmood had been retired under VSS-2008 without pension. This case was disposed of by honourable Lahore High Court on 24-06-2016 with the direction to MD PTET by deciding on the  application of the petitioner ,within four weeks from date of issuance the certified copy of the order of dated 24-6-16, the said application was pending before  him ( MD PTE). In the said application the petitioner Khalid Mehmood had requested the President PTCL & MD PTET for restoring his pension wef from the date of his retirement ie on 18-2-2008, as being PTCL employee having statutory rules of GoP provision in accordance to ruling of HSC in Masood Bhattie case ( 2012 SCMR 152), he is entitled for for all such govt benefits.
You may all  note , that was  the application of petitioner of appeal/notice addressed to PTCL President & MD PTET for restoring of pension which was not given to him in spite of having litigimate  period ie more then minimum of 10 year or more then 10 of qualified service period for pension. This was the same application of appeal / notice , of which was drafted by and  the draft specimen was sent to allmost all such VSS-2008 PTCL employees who contacted me, retired. With my suggestion to all such ,many of you had sent this appeal to to PTCL President & MD PTET after duly vetted by an experienced lawyer ,  first .Further more I had advised to such all of you that if no any positive action was taken by them, then you should knock the door of court for your litigimate  rights . Mr Khalid Mehmood did the same, and filled the writ petetion in LHC and the honourable court decided in his favour by ordering MD PTET , under section 24-A of General Clauses Act 1897 to decide on his application as per law pending with him within four week , as I mentioned above.The certified copy  of such order dated 24-6-16 was issued on 4-7-2016
This is the the good decision of  LHC which will boost all such others VSS retired without pension , having the same issue. This decesion can  be helpful for such all of you as a reference
