Yet, fate intervened cruelly when, on March 2, 2024, these cases were summarily removed from the docket, leaving the petitioners in a state of despair.

Undeterred by this setback, the petitioners pinned their hopes on the rescheduled hearing set for March 19, 2024, before Bench-III. However, their optimism was short-lived as the proceedings were abruptly adjourned due to the absence of legal representatives from PTI and PTCL. This turn of events not only deepened their sense of disillusionment but also raised serious questions about the integrity of the legal process.

The PTCL pensioners have waited far too long for justice, and every day of delay further exacerbates their suffering. It is imperative that their voices are heard, and their grievances addressed without further delay.
